How Community Speedwatch works.
Volunteers: Local residents complete safety and equipment training provided by Derbyshire Police.
Checks: Teams perform high-visibility roadside checks in approved 30mph and 40mph zones.
Action: Vehicle details are logged on a central database, resulting in advisory warning letters sent to registered keepers.
Raise Concerns: Attend local policing engagement events, Street Meets or Local Parish Council Meetings, held across the Wingerworth & Rural Beat Area.
